...because your story matters.

There is an old saying, "Build it and they will come."  That proved to be true with Stories For Emma.  We put out the word and people showed up with a bounty of products - makeup, notepads, nail polish.  And each and every item found its way into someone's box.

We may never know more than we do now about the people who receive the boxes.  One day they're here and the next they're gone.  But with Stories For Emma, we can take the time to let people know we care about their story.  And maybe then they'll choose to share it.

What's in the box?

Every box has at least five items.  For example, this box contains a pair of gloves, toothbrush, toothpaste, eyeliner and lipstick.  Other boxes might contain a flashlight, shampoo, conditioner, nail polish and a compact. Then we add the questionnaire, a SASE, and a pen.  We try to keep the boxes gender specific, but the questionnaire suggests that if there is something in the box the recipient doesn't want, they might think about gifting it to someone else.

It being the season and all.
